Residents (new owners) thrilled they can go off-grid successfully, comfortably, in an all electric home.
Developer is pleased to clear building dept inspections, get TCO, MLS/list, and SELL the property. Without Mountain Microgrids, the completed home would have sat vacant.

12months post construction complete...
still waiting for utility service (updated 2025-08)Two all electric new construction homes, occupied by families now, running without issue for 9+ months. No support calls, no training. EV chargers are the only disabled circuit/appliance.
Was able to dark start the battery system without grid or any external jump start
System initially setup without internet. Initial setup, configuration, and system status using built in screen. LTE monitoring added (still no Comcast/Fiber) so we all had visibility on system status.

This is one of the first–if not the first– permitted off grid residence in San Francisco, allowing both units to get TCO, listed on MLS, sold, and lived in without a PG&E grid connection.
No meters, no problem!
